Ogden: Small Town, Big Fun

The town of Ogden, New York is located a mere fifteen minutes from the bustling city of Rochester. Within the town of Ogden, residents will find the quaint village of Spencerport on the canal. There, you can enjoy restaurants, coffee shops, hair salons, drug stores, and essentially anything you might need to fuel your productive, vibrant lifestyle. Ogden also features a community center that houses a public library, in addition to a host of services including childcare, fitness and recreational facilities, and even the local DMV. Fuel your social calendar with the many community events within the area such as Canal Days, Christmas on the Canal, the Fireman's parade, and summer Concerts at the Gazebo. If this doesn't seem like enough entertainment to suit your adventurous spirit, head to nearby Rochester! Although it’s five hours from New York City, Rochester stands on its own in terms of the culture the city offers. The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Gava Theatre Center, and the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film are just a few of the cultural institutions that populate the area.
