Expand Your Cultural Horizons with the Rochester Ukrainian Festival

The St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Festival was established in 1973 as an effort to introduce Ukrainian Arts and Crafts, Ukrainian food, and Ukrainian music and dance to the Greater Rochester community.

The Festival offers tradition Ukrainian foods such as Varenyky (or pyrohy or pierogies) a potato and cheese dumpling, Holubtsi (stuffed cabbage rolls), Kovbasa (Ukrainian sausage), Kapusta (Ukrainian style sauerkraut) and Borshch (beet soup to the public.

It also hosts a variety of vendors from throughout the United States and Canada, displaying Ukrainian Arts and Crafts such as ceramics, embroidery, wood carvings, jewelry, icons, paintings, and Ukrainian Easter eggs.

Better yet, you’ll find a variety of entertainment including traditional Ukrainian folk dancers, singers, and musicians!

So, make preparations to attend this festival with your family and friends this weekend!
